Static guarding places an officer at a defined position — a gatehouse, reception desk, barrier or control point — for the duration of the shift. Where manned guarding covers a site broadly, static guarding secures a specific point of entry or vulnerability.
Manned guarding is broader — officers patrol and cover the site as a whole. Static guarding holds a specific post. Many sites use both: a static officer on the gate and a patrolling officer covering the rest.
We work with whatever is on site. If you need a cabin or welfare facility, we can advise on hiring one — but that is normally arranged directly by the site to keep costs transparent.
Shifts are typically eight or twelve hours. Shorter periods are possible for specific needs such as a delivery window, but the hourly rate reflects the shorter booking.
